It is said that the Sun, Moon, Varuna, Agni, Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva salute the person who donates cow benevolently....

     On HUMANITARIAN basis - A unique cow donation programme by PERUMCHELLUR SANGEETHA SABHA - (supported by Dazzling kvkn & SAP Labs Blore) is helping flood victims rebuild their lives in Wayanad. The cows being donated are all high-yielding varieties with average daily milk output of 15-18 litres. A cow yielding 15-20 litres of milk costs around Rs 60,000. Over 400 people have died due to torrential rains and landslides in Kerala, affecting more than 15 lakh people. High water levels has destroyed livelihood leaving families in desperate need of help. People are facing the threat of water-borne illnesses like cholera, typhoid and hepatitis. As the flood water is receding, affected people are left without home and livelihood. They are in urgent need of safe drinking water, medical and hygiene supplies, food, and long-term recovery and rehabilitation support to cope with the disaster. People in Kerala need our help more than ever. This was the talk line among DAZZLING KVKN (Distinguished Astonishing Zenith Zooming Loving Intimate Numerous Guys & Girls) a group of friends who shared the schooling experience together for more than 7 years & still continue the sacred relationship called Friendship for the last 31 years! Together we decided to collect as much as we can from our entire network. One of my friends who works for SAP Labs Bengaluru co-ordinated and collected a substantial amount to help the deserving people affected in the flood. They joined Perumchellur Sangeetha Sabha, a group of Carnatic music lovers from Malabar Kerala, who were working on the same goal; but with a different approach to raise the fund. In life, there are no sure bets, except that like - minded people rise to the occasion and make the world a better place. Dazzling Kvkn, Friends from SAP Labs Bengaluru, Carnatic Musicians & All service providers who joined hands with Perumchellur Sangeetha Sabha to raise a substantial amount of INR 3 Lakhs for serving the deserving people affected in the flood. Unity is the strength. Let us reach out to care for each other. Our real strength is in our willingness to care & support each other.
