T he good old proverb says life is valued not by the length of years but by the volume of charity. People come and people go... but there are very few who survive generations to eke out a phenomenal place for themselves..in the sense that they dont spend their valuable time filling their pockets but make it a point to see that the havenots have sufficient to make for themselves a comfortable66 life...in this context we have to remember a noble soul who grew himself as much as he allowed others to grow. our historians make it a point to create a special space for very popular characters.who have lived their lives more for the upliftment of others rather than for themselves.. among such people we tend to forget a few who have lived an equally sacrificial life.for people but donot find for themselves a space in history probably because their contribution gets effectively experienced by a few in a comparitively smaller geographical jurisdiction.....inspite of the geographical smallness of their jurisdiction their contibution gets wings to travel through their small beneficieries.........Between kannur town and the payyannur town in the north malabar nestles a small town called taliparamba....a hub of many social activities....the town that was and the town that is ,would relate the story of a person who took a personal selfless interest to nurture this sleeping town into a hub of modernized activities..Especially those who have sen the past and present of this little town would put his name on top of the list of people who worked with extreme foresight to water this town into a prosperous zooming hub of socio cultural activities..today taliparamba has almost every thing essential to make it a modern city......behind the glaring neon lights or the modern bright LEDs looms the figure of a man whom people of slightly older generation ,affectionately call “company swami”..he was the man who taught this commercial vocabulary to people so that they could catch the threads and weave togrther a stong foundation for a bubbling town.....its extremely noble of the members of this family to commemorate this great mans memory by errecting a memorial auditorium in the heart of this temple town which feeds the rich and poor belonging to all religious sects of this society......may the younger generation of this family have wil power to emulate this great man.
